Stanley Chen

Stanley was born and raised in New York. He graduated from SUNY Buffalo with a BA in Linguistics and a double minor in Japanese and computer science. To explore his passion with language, he moved to Japan through the JET program where he taught at Hojo High School in Hyogo from 2016-2021. During his time in Japan, he enjoyed volunteering at the local international NPO, karate, traveling, and exploring Japanese cuisine.

Coming back to New York recently, Stanley hopes to maintain a connection to Japanese culture and the local Japanese community.
