Peter Yang was born in China and raised in the US. After graduating from Florida State University double majoring in Philosophy and English Literature, he spent four years in Wakama Prefecture as a JET. Not having had enough of Japan, he moved to Osaka and stay an additional three years as a salaryman in the hospitality industry.

After returning from Japan, Peter moved to the NYC area and currently works for a Japanese distributor as a sales analyst and in his spare time enjoys learning new languages, martial arts, and reading.
