24 Seasons Art Cohort

Do you want to feel more connected with nature in 2025? Are you looking for motivation for your art? Have you been searching for a creative community? Join seasonal enthusiast, artist, and co-host of the podcast Season by Season, Alexis Agliano Sanborn, for a year-long art cohort that will use the framework of Japan’s 24 seasons to guide your creativity.

Every two weeks, participants will challenge themselves to produce something that reflects the passage of time, inspired by one of the 24 mini-seasons of the year. Participants will meet monthly via Zoom to share their artwork and provide encouragement and accountability. Once a quarter, plein-air field trips will also be organized. Along the way, Alexis will provide supplemental material for those wanting to learn more about Japan and its seasonality. JETAANY members and FOJs will receive a watercolor journal as part of their participation in this program.

In-Person Kick-Off Meeting: Tuesday, January 7th, 2025, at 6:30 pm in midtown Manhattan

Subsequent meetings will be the 2nd Wednesday each month at 8 pm via Zoom.

Cost: $20 for JET Alumnus or JLGC Staff / $30 for Friends of JET (FOJs). Fee includes a watercolor journal, participants will use their own art supplies.

Register: Please sign up here by January 1st, 2025.
