3/2 Book Club: Silence

For March we will be reading SILENCE, Shusaku Endo's masterpiece about Christianity in 17th-century Japan. Bonus points if you watch Martin Scorsese's cinematic adaptation, which can be rented for about $3 on several streaming services.

Register through Zoom at https://bit.ly/3sRwbEs to receive meeting information.

And planning ahead: April book will be The Master of Go by Yasunari Kawabata.

While we usually meet in person over pizza, we'll be gathering virtually for the time being. Feel free to eat and drink during the meeting. Joining late is OK, too!

The JETAANY Book Club is open to anyone with an interest in Japan and a love of reading. Please join us for a casual, nonjudgmental discussion!

Questions via Facebook or by emailing bookclub[at]jetaany[dot]org.
