Statements from Board Members Up For Re-election

Amber Liang

Kochi Prefecture ALT, 2006-2008

It has been an honor to serve the JETAANY community since 2008. JET was one of the most transformative experiences of my life, and I knew that even though my JET experience had ended, I wanted to stay involved in the JET community as an alumna. Over the years, I've helped coordinate a slew of prominent JETAANY events, I was secretary from 2009-2010, and I have served on the board of directors since 2012. I love seeing JETAANY thrive and hope to continue to support the chapter the best that I can.

Monica Yuki

Saitama Prefecture ALT, 2002-2004

As a dedicated and passionate advocate for the success and growth of JETAANY, I am seeking another term on the Board of Directors. I have held a leadership role with JETAANY for the past 16 years, and during that time I've had the pleasure of serving as President, Vice President, and Social Chair. I would like to continue to support the executive leadership team and their effort of promoting the JET Program, assisting returning JETs, and strengthening ties between JET alumni and the community. I bring with me institutional knowledge of the organization, boundless enthusiasm, and deep commitment to the alumni and JETAANY's mission.
