9/19 Philly Picnic Event
Inviting all JET Alumni and potential JETs
The JETAANY Philadelphia sub-chapter will be hosting a Socially Distanced Japanese Bento Picnic Day! We plan to take out lunch bento boxes from a local Japanese restaurant and walk to a local park to get to know each other, discuss JET experiences, and play a Trivia Game about Japan.
- Date: September 19th, (rain date: September 26th at noon)
- Time: 12pm
- Location 1: Meet at Kei Sushi (1711 South St, Philadelphia, PA 19146) to order bentos
- Location 2: 10-minute walk to Rittenhouse Square for the picnic
- Cost: Participants are required to pay $2 to attend and receive a bento box and beverage. Payment can be done through cash or Venmo to the Philadelphia rep., Chelsea Chang, at the event
- Things to bring: A mask and a lawn chair/ blanket to sit outside
