On Sunday, May 12th (Mothers’ Day), JETAANY and the JapanSociety will be hosting the Yo-Yo Balloon Tent at Japan Day in Central Park andwe are looking for volunteers!

We’ll be helping hundreds of visitors “fish” for Yo-Yo Balloonsand need JET Alumni volunteers to assist in many areas of the booth – includinggreeting the guests, explaining the game, prepping water balloons, andassisting children with the game.

All volunteers will get a delicious bento lunch, a drink and afree Japan Day t-shirt, plus meet tons of fun people and teach the NYCcommunity a fun Japanese festival game.

This year we arehaving TWO shifts.  If you are availablefor more than one shift that is great! Please don’t be late because itaffects when other volunteers can finish their shift and eat their bento. Ifyou sign up for the “Rock-Star” shift you will get breaks to enjoy the festivaland to eat bento lunch.
