We are looking for someone to sublet a spacious and sunny bedroom in our 3-bedroom apartment in Fort Greene, Brooklyn for the month of September.

This is a one-month sublet starting Sept. 1. Rent is $980 for everything (price includes utilities: Wireless internet, electricity and gas; and full-size bed). To move in we\’ll need one-month\’s rent plus security deposit.

Your semi-furnished, quiet, medium-sized bedroom is located in the rear of the apartment and can comfortably fit a full-size bed (available in room), dresser, nightstand and a desk. There is a large closet and two windows facing a courtyard. You will only be sharing the bathroom with one other roommate as the 3rd bedroom has a full bath. The apartment itself is amazing. Large living room, plenty of closet space, separate kitchen, hardwood floors, and a balcony facing the front of the apartment onto tree-lined Clermont Avenue.

We are two professional women in our late 20s and early 30s who are down to earth, like to have fun but prefer to make our home feel like a haven away from the bustling city. We are seeking a roommate with similar qualities as us: interesting, busy, clean, considerate, responsible student/young professional. No preference for male or female. No smoking in the apartment (balcony OK), no drugs or heavy drinking. Occasional guests are OK, but we are not looking for a 4th roommate.

If you are familiar with Fort Greene, you know it is a fantastic area in Brooklyn. The apartment is one block from the cool restaurants and bars on DeKalb Avenue (two blocks from Lafayette Avenue), three blocks from Fort Greene Park, a block from a deli/supermarket, a 10-minute walk to Atlantic Avenue and BAM, 7-minute walk to the C and G, and a block from a bus that runs down DeKalb to Downtown Brooklyn. We’re about a 20-minute walk to Prospect Park, and only steps away from the wonderful Brooklyn Flea on Saturdays.

If you are interested, please email a little bit about yourself and we will get back to you if it seems like a good fit. We are showing the room now. Feel free to contact us with any questions. We look forward to hearing from you. Thanks so much!
