The Nippon Gallery at The Nippon Club is pleased to host an exhibition by well-known Japanese artist, Michio Namatame, resident of Fukushima Prefecture, with the title of “Help Fukushima – Send a Message for the Future.\”

Greatly influenced by the 3/11/2011 calamity, Namatame decided to record memories of people’s pains, struggles, anxieties, and grief and one of the biggest disasters in his life with his paintings. At this exhibition, 30 pcs of the Earthquakes-themed paintings including Eleven Deities of Good Luck created in response to the Earthquake Disaster will be exhibited. Thorough this exhibition, Namatame wishes once again you would your heart goes out to the area stricken by the disaster and the circle of sympathy would extend more.

Exhibit Dates: 04/09/15 ~ 04/15/15
Time: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm (M – F) 10:00 am – 5:00 pm (Sat.) Closed on Sundays
Location: The Nippon Gallery at The Nippon Club
Fee: Free
