We received over 70 outstanding photos from our alumni, and we’d like to send a special thanks to EVERYONE who sent in a photo or two. We’d also like to thank everyone who voted, or even had a browse through the albums. (They can still be found here) We hope you’ve been able to enjoy a small dose of nostalgia, beauty, and culture of Japan along with us throughout the contest. JETAANY 30th Anniversary Photo Contest

We are opening this contest to all JETAANY members, regardless of when you went on JET. Doesn’t matter if you were in Japan in 1989, 2006 or are still there! We want to help our alumni to help share their best memories and photos of Japan throughout the long history of the JET Program 2020 has been a turbulent year, and with travel restricted, many of us have been looking through old photos of our lives in Japan on the JET Programme. Japan-A-Mania 2020 [SAT, 2/15]
Posted on January 24, 2020 | No CommentsLike sharing Japanese culture with NYC youth? Come join us at our annual event with Big Brothers/Big Sisters (BB/BS) of NYC! We volunteer and help introduce Japanese culture to the NYC youth and their big brother/sister through fun and varied activities including: -Kimono/Yukata/Happi Coat Fitting-Origami-Japanese Writing-Chopstick Challenge-Making Onigiri (Japanese Rice Balls) *Event runs from 10:30-3:30PM. Volunteers will be needed for setup and cleanup before and after the event. We will have teambuilding activities/games, National Conference recap, an open working bunch meeting, and more! We are inviting you (JET returnees and FOJs) to come join us! Come meet the current executive officers and learn how to get involved with JETAANY — including upcoming officer elections in March. Brunch will be served!
