Kamifusen Workshop

When: Saturday, May 22 from 3:00 – 4:30 pm Where: East Meadow at Central Park (East Side from 97th street – 100th Street.) Cost: $20 (includes workshop fee and all materials) Application deadline: May 20, 2010 This is a workshop solely dedicated to the traditional Japanese toy Kamifusen, essentially a paper balloon made of waxed washi paper. Please join our group as we play the Kamifusen game in Central Park. The Kamifusen game is pretty simple: the object it to keep the kamifusen in the air by hitting it with your hand–no athletic ability necessary!
