I was a JET ALT in Oita-ken from 2006-2008. Originally from NY, I currently work at The Laurasian Institution (www.laurasian.org), a non-profit org in Seattle which focuses on placing HS students from China, Japan, & Korea into HS in America, as well as finding host families for these students. Email us if you are interested in having an exchange student in your HS or hosting a student in your home!
