  • JAPAN DAY @ Central Park Stop by and see the JETAANY members volunteering at the Yo-Yo Balloon Tent Sunday, May 12th On Sunday May 12th, JETAANY and the Japan Society will be hosting the Yo-Yo Fishing Balloon Tent at Japan Day in Central Park. We’ll be helping visitors “fish” for Yo-Yo Balloons and need volunteers to assist in many areas of the booth – including greeting the guests, explaining the game, prepping water balloons and assisting children with fishing for balloons. All volunteers will get a delicious bento lunch, a drink and a free Japan Day t-shirt, plus meet tons of fun people and teach the NYC community a fun Japanese festival game. Date: Saturday, April 20th Time: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM Location: Central Park ~ Great Lawn (near The MET Museum~ 84th Street and 5th ave) Subway Directions: 4/5/6 train to 86th street  or  B/C train to 81st street  Map to Meeting location Meeting Location: We will be picnicking on the east side of the Great Lawn between fields #2 and #4.
