Nihongo Dake Movie Night – Jiro Dreams of Sushi

Come to our first ever Nihongo Dake Movie Night!

Jiro Dreams of Sushi tells the story of Jiro Ono, a world famous sushi chef with a small restaurant in a Tokyo subway station. Critics have given the film high praise as a “thoughtful and elegant meditation on work, family, and the art of perfection, chronicling Jiro’s life as both an unparalleled success in the culinary world, and a loving yet complicated father.”

The film is playing at IFC Center (323 6th Avenue) at 8:00pm. Anyone interested in joining should meet at the movie theater at 7:30 to get tickets (pay individually), buy refreshments and find seats.
