Karate focuses on the development of defensive and counter-attacking body movements. The themes of traditional karate training are fighting and self-defense, though its mental and moral aspects target the overall improvement of the individual. Daisuke Matsumoto, a 4th degree black belt, will offer a lesson designed for beginners. World Oyama Karate has been teaching the full-contact Japanese style of Karate since 1985.  World Oyama, which has dojos in 19 countries, has an uncompromising dedication to teaching excellence and a reputation for coaching some of the best international full-contact Karate champions.

It will be a beginner lesson- but be ready for a challenge! Make sure to wear workout clothes and bring a bottle of water.
