Join JETAANY for a short education on shodo (Japanese calligraphy). This class is an opportunity to learn not only the exquisite techniques of brush writing and painting, but to gain a deeper insight and appreciation for Japanese language and culture. This class is for beginners

About the instructor:
Ms. Seikou Kaneko is dedicated to preserving and teaching the traditional Japanese arts of Shodou (calligraphy) and Suibokuga (water and ink paintings). She was born in Fukuoka Japan, and has been practicing Shodo (Japanese Brush Writing) for more than 50 years. In 1981, she moved to the United States.
