Event PR and You (and us!)

Got an awesome event you need publicized? Have a business you want people to know about? The JETAANY website and bi-weekly newsletter are a great way to get the word out! Here’s a quick primer to how it all works.

ANNOUNCEMENTS: The announcements are sent bi-weekly, every first and third Thursday of a month.  The deadline for the announcements is the Wednesday night before.

WEBSITE, TWITTER, FB: Please send secretary@jetaany.org the following information if you want a blurb up on the website and Facebook: Event name, date and time, location (with address), rsvp information, and a little PR blurb. Please check jetaany.org for the format.

NON-JETAANY EVENTS: We can’t add non-JETAANY events to the JETAANY event calender, unfortunately. However, anyone can add events to our “Other Japan-Related Events” forum on jetaany.org. Please feel free to post your own events there rather than sending it to me and waiting. Anything posted to that forum gets added to announcements automatically.
