To celebrate some much needed warm weather, the May Nihongo Dake Dinner will be held at Bia Garden, a Vietnamese beer garden located on the Lower East Side.
At this LES spot, where Vietnamese street food meets German beer hall, we can practice our Nihongo communication (or should I say nomu-nication?) skills in the kitschy, yet charming, outdoor garden surrounded by fruit trees, open skies and great company!
The staff of Bia Garden has prepared a set menu for us which includes such staples as Vietnamese Spring Rolls, Vermicelli Noodles, Ginger Curry, and Crispy Pork Belly. An assortment of Asian beers are also available for purchase at the event.
Please bring your Japanese friends (the more the merrier), a desire to practice your language skills, and be ready to have an awesome time meeting friends both old and new!
