  • Come join the first Nihongo Dake Dinner for 2009! Please note, for NDD’s going forward we will have both a beginner (shokyu) and an advanced (jyokyu) table, so everyone who’s interested in speaking about Japan and their experiences can join. For the next NDD we’ll dive into Chinatown, enjoying a variety of Chinese food from one of Chinatown’s delicious restaurants.   • All-you-can-eat Shabu Shabu All-you-can-drink beer and Sake Date: Saturday January 30th Time: 7pm-9pm…depending when they kick us out. Location: Naniwa, 4 East 46th street (btwn Madison and 5th Ave) Cost: $35 Come join your fellow alums and kick off 2010 at the annual Shinnenkai at Naniwa. Eat and drink the way we did in Japan on tatami floors and wait staff in Kimonos. This is a JET alumni only event. Pay now and reserve your spot. Only 40 spots available! If not all the spots are filled by JET alums on January 25th than friends and family can join the festivities.
