It’s back again – the chance to chow down on top-quality Japanese food, get your Japanese back into shape and meet all sorts of interesting people. This month, we’re at Inase sushi (1586 1st Ave, between E. 82nd and 83rd St), which comes highly recommended – the chef is apparently a veteran of the fancy mid-town sushi places none of us can afford to go to. We kick off at 6:45 p.m. Places are limited, so RSVP ASAP to Rob Tuck at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks!
PS – Now with added “Nihongo Hanbun” Tables!
Have you been meaning to come to a dinner, but have been put off because you aren’t confident in your level of Japanese? Are you intimidated by the sight of lots of pera-pera people discussing advanced economics in Japanese? You’re not alone. Thousands of people feel the same. Thankfully, help is at hand. With our new “Nihongo Hanbun” system, you can bring back those memories of the izakaya without having to put up with that show-off former CIR at the end of the table. Questions? E-mail Rob as above.
